tasmādanena dānena gṛhastho mucyate bhavāt yogināṃ saṃpradānena śivaḥ kṣipraṃ prasīdati
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It links Linga-centered Shaiva dharma with practical grihastha conduct: charity done in a Shiva-aligned way becomes a means for loosening pasha (bondage) and gaining Shiva’s swift favor.
Shiva is presented as Pati—the gracious Lord who responds quickly to sincere, dharmic offerings, granting prasada that leads the pashu (soul) beyond bhava (samsaric becoming).
Dana offered properly to yogins—those established in yoga and Shaiva discipline—is highlighted as a supportive practice to Pashupata-oriented liberation, complementing puja and inner yogic striving.
