Shloka 17

उपमन्युना कृष्णाय पाशुपतज्ञान-प्रदानम् तथा दानविधि-फलश्रुतिः

राज्यं पुत्रं धनं भव्यम् अश्वं यानमथापि वा सर्वस्वं वापि दातव्यं यदीच्छेन्मोक्षमुत्तमम्

rājyaṃ putraṃ dhanaṃ bhavyam aśvaṃ yānamathāpi vā sarvasvaṃ vāpi dātavyaṃ yadīcchenmokṣamuttamam

若渴求至上解脱,当备心施舍——国土、子嗣、财宝、珍贵之物、马匹、车乘,乃至一切所有;此等舍离能松解缚住 paśu 的绳索 pāśa,使其转向主宰 Pati——湿婆 Śiva。
