नानाहाराश्च जीवन्ति पुण्यपापनिमित्ततः / नवयोजनसाहस्त्रं वर्षमेतत् प्रकीर्तितम् / कर्मभूमिरियं विप्रा नराणामधिकारिणाम्

众生依福与罪所生之因缘,各以种种饮食而存。此地被宣说其广为九千由旬,并以“一年”为其度量。噢,婆罗门们,此处乃人类有资格行持法(dharma)之业地(karmabhūmi)。
