牧女们说:我们知道你是亚杜之主圣奎师那的亲近侍从;你奉你所敬爱的主之命而来,祂愿使父母欢喜。
The gopīs recognize Uddhava as a close associate of Kṛṣṇa (Yadupati) who has come as His representative.
In the narrative, Uddhava arrives in Vraja to deliver Kṛṣṇa’s message and give solace—especially to Nanda and Yaśodā—thus fulfilling something pleasing to them on Kṛṣṇa’s behalf.
A devotee learns to recognize sincere messengers of the Lord and to value service that comforts and supports other devotees, especially those in deep longing for Kṛṣṇa.
