उप स्तृणीहि प्रथय पुरस्ताद् घृतेन पात्रमभि घारयैतत्। वाश्रेवोस्रा तरुणं स्तनस्युमिमं देवासो अभिहिङ्कृणोत
upá stṛṇīhi pratháya purástād ghṛténa pā́tram abhí ghārayaitát | vāśrévosrā́ tarúṇaṃ stanasyúm imáṃ devāso abhí híṅkṛṇota
Draw near and strew; spread it broad in front: with ghee pour over this vessel. As ruddy cows with lowing call to the young calf eager for the teat—so, O Gods, acclaim and urge this here with your ‘hiṅ’ cry.
近前铺陈,向前方广广铺展;以酥油(ghṛta)浇灌此器皿。犹如赤色母牛哞鸣,呼唤那渴求乳头的幼犊——诸神啊,也当以“hiṅ”之呼声赞许并催动此物。
