于彼处,应按分数比例将布局划分为二-pada与八-pada之区,并在该格局中形成 svastika(卍)图样。诸 vīthikā(街道/行道)应如前所述,铺设于外侧。

Concept: Sacred space is made effective through standardized grids (pada) and proportion (bhāga), integrating auspicious symbols.
Application: Use pada-grids for consistent temple/yantra drafting and for aligning circulation (outer vīthikā) with the sanctified core.

It gives a vāstu-planning rule: divide the ground-plan into measured pada units (two and eight divisions by proportional shares), form svastika-pattern modules, and place the vīthikā (streets/lanes) on the exterior as per earlier instructions.
Beyond theology, the Agni Purāṇa preserves practical śāstric knowledge—here, technical town/temple layout geometry (pada-grids, proportional partitioning, and street placement), showing its coverage of architecture and civil planning alongside ritual and dharma.
Using auspicious svastika configurations and correctly ordered vāstu geometry is traditionally held to harmonize space, support prosperity and well-being, and reduce vāstu-doṣa (inauspicious spatial faults) for occupants and worship.
