“我将宣说用于修法之真言,由此成就灌顶(dīkṣā)并令护摩(homa)仪轨圆满。以‘oṃ yaṃ——愿诸有情得清净——huṃ phaṭ’此咒,应行塔陀那(tāḍana)之仪,即仪式性的击触;于此它成就二重分离(viyojana)。”

Related Themes: Agni Purana 27 (mantra-prayoga for dīkṣā, bhūta-śuddhi, homa)
It teaches a specific prayoga-mantra—oṃ yaṃ … huṃ phaṭ—used in dīkṣā/homa to perform ritual tāḍana (tapping/striking) for purification and expulsion (viyojana) of obstructive bhūtas.
Beyond mythic narration, it preserves operational ritual technology: seed-syllables (bījas), phaṭ-kāra usage, and procedural actions like tāḍana—showing the text’s coverage of practical liturgy and mantra-application alongside other sciences.
The instruction aims at śuddhi (purification) and removal of impediments, safeguarding the efficacy of initiation and homa; ritually, it is meant to sever harmful influences and stabilize the consecrated act.
