श्रीभगवानुवाच । भोभो देवा भवन्तश्च चिराद्दिष्टयाद्यसंगताः । अधुना भवतामिच्छां कां करोमि सुरा अहम् । तद्ब्रूत त्वरिता मह्यं किं विलंबेन निर्भयाः
śrībhagavānuvāca | bhobho devā bhavantaśca cirāddiṣṭayādyasaṃgatāḥ | adhunā bhavatāmicchāṃ kāṃ karomi surā aham | tadbrūta tvaritā mahyaṃ kiṃ vilaṃbena nirbhayāḥ
Đức Thế Tôn phán: “Này chư Thiên! Sau bao lâu, nhờ phúc lành, hôm nay các ngươi mới được gặp Ta. Nay các ngươi muốn Ta toại nguyện điều gì? Hãy nói mau cho Ta—cớ sao còn chần chừ khi chẳng có gì phải sợ?”
