ततोऽब्रवीद्विभुर्गंगां पार्श्वतः समुपस्थिताम् । एनं वह्निं महाभागे वेगान्नय महोदधिम् । नान्या शक्ता समानेतुं त्वां विना लोकपावनि
tato'bravīdvibhurgaṃgāṃ pārśvataḥ samupasthitām | enaṃ vahniṃ mahābhāge vegānnaya mahodadhim | nānyā śaktā samānetuṃ tvāṃ vinā lokapāvani
Bấy giờ, Đấng Tối Thượng nói với sông Hằng đứng bên cạnh Ngài: “Ôi bậc phúc đức, hãy mau chóng mang ngọn lửa này đến Đại Hải. Ngoài nàng ra, không ai có thể đưa nó tới đó; ôi Đấng tẩy sạch các cõi.”
