अग्निश्च रेतो मृडया च देहो रेतोधा विष्णुरमृतस्य नाभिः । एतद्ब्रुवन्पार्वति सत्यवाक्यं ततोऽवगाहेत्तु पतिं नदीनाम्
agniśca reto mṛḍayā ca deho retodhā viṣṇuramṛtasya nābhiḥ | etadbruvanpārvati satyavākyaṃ tato'vagāhettu patiṃ nadīnām
“Agni là hạt giống; thân này được tạo thành nhờ ân lực từ bi của Śiva; Viṣṇu là Đấng mang hạt giống ấy và là rốn của bất tử cam lồ.” Nói những lời chân thật ấy, ôi Pārvatī, rồi hãy bước xuống dòng nước—chúa tể các sông—để tắm gội thanh tịnh.
