Vasiṣṭha
Tirtha: Brahmodbhava Padma
Type: kund
Listener: the afflicted king (pārthiva)
Scene: Vasiṣṭha points out a radiant lotus—Brahmodbhava—glowing with subtle forms or emblems of many deities within its petals; the king looks on with awe as the sacred object becomes the focal point of hope and cure.
Sacred darśana concentrates divine presence—one holy vision can symbolize communion with the entire pantheon.
The Brahmodbhava (Brahmapadma) lotus-tīrtha within Prabhāsakṣetra’s māhātmya.
Darśana (beholding) itself is presented as spiritually efficacious.
