smṛtamātrā tatra bhittvā pātālatalamudyayau | sā nadīrūpiṇī devī tīrthakoṭisamanvitā

Vừa được tưởng niệm, nàng liền trỗi dậy ngay tại đó, phá vỡ mặt đất của cõi Pātāla (địa giới). Nữ thần ấy hóa thân thành dòng sông, xuất hiện với đầy đủ công đức của một koṭi (một crore) thánh địa tắm gội (tīrtha).
