Transliteration

satāṃ saptapadaṃ maitramityāhurbuddhikovidāḥ | mitratāṃ ca puraskṛtya samāsādvaktumarhasi

Translation

Bậc trí giả nói rằng: giữa những người hiền thiện, tình bằng hữu được kết ấn bằng “bảy bước” cùng đi. Vậy nên, tôn trọng mối giao tình ấy, xin Ngài hãy từ bi nói với tôi trong niềm tin cậy.
