भाजनेषु च तिष्ठत्सु स्वस्तिं कुर्वन्ति ये द्विजाः । तदन्नमसुरैर्भुक्तं निराशाः पितरो गताः
bhājaneṣu ca tiṣṭhatsu svastiṃ kurvanti ye dvijāḥ | tadannamasurairbhuktaṃ nirāśāḥ pitaro gatāḥ
Khi các vật đựng vẫn còn đặt đó, nếu các bậc nhị sinh vội đọc lời ‘svasti’ (chúc lành) trước thời, thì thức ăn ấy bị A-tu-la thọ dụng, còn các Pitṛ (Tổ linh) ra đi trong nỗi thất vọng.
