Transliteration

tato'ṣṭādaśadhā kṛtvā vedavyāso yugeyuge | prakhyāpayati loke'sminsākṣānnārāyaṇāṃśajaḥ

Translation

Bấy giờ, chia thành mười tám phần, ngài Vedavyāsa trong mỗi thời đại tuyên dương nơi thế gian này—ngài chính là phần hóa thân trực tiếp của Nārāyaṇa.
