ईश्वर उवाच । यदा तु पृथिवी व्याप्ता दानवैर्बलवत्तरैः । ततः प्रभृति शापेन भृगुनैमित्तिकेन ह
īśvara uvāca | yadā tu pṛthivī vyāptā dānavairbalavattaraiḥ | tataḥ prabhṛti śāpena bhṛgunaimittikena ha
Īśvara đáp: “Khi mặt đất bị các Dānava hùng mạnh tràn ngập, thì từ thời điểm ấy trở đi—do lời nguyền khởi bởi Bhṛgu—(đạo trình thiêng liêng) đã diễn tiến như vậy.”
