Śiva (deduced: didactic etymology addressed to Devī)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī
Scene: Prabhāsa depicted as the ‘first light’ on earth—like a cosmic lamp—while sages and pilgrims point toward it as the ‘ādi-tīrtha’ among countless sacred waters.
The tīrtha is revered as ‘first’ not merely in time but in sanctity—its radiance symbolizes primacy in dharma and pilgrimage merit.
Prabhāsa Tīrtha (Prabhāsa Kṣetra), acclaimed as Āditīrtha (the primordial sacred ford).
No specific ritual is stated; the verse focuses on the title and preeminence of the tīrtha.
