ययातिरुवाच । किमर्थं भगवन्वह्निः पुरा नष्टो द्विजोत्तम । कथं तत्रैव लब्धस्तु कौतुकं मे महामुने
yayātiruvāca | kimarthaṃ bhagavanvahniḥ purā naṣṭo dvijottama | kathaṃ tatraiva labdhastu kautukaṃ me mahāmune
Yayāti thưa: Vì cớ gì, bạch đấng tôn kính, thuở xưa Thần Lửa (Vahni) lại bị thất lạc, hỡi bậc tối thượng trong hàng lưỡng sinh? Và Ngài đã được tìm thấy lại ngay tại đó bằng cách nào? Đại hiền triết, lòng hiếu kỳ này đã khởi lên trong con.
