Transliteration

atha ciṃtāparo vipraḥ prāyaścittabhayāddhruvam | vīkṣāṃcakre vane tasminsameṣu viṣameṣu ca

Translation

Bấy giờ vị brāhmaṇa ấy tràn ngập lo âu—hẳn do sợ phải làm lễ sám hối (prāyaścitta)—liền tìm kiếm khắp khu rừng ấy, cả nơi bằng phẳng lẫn chỗ gập ghềnh hiểm trở.
