न तस्याः सदृशः कांतः प्राप्तस्तेन महात्मना । यतस्ततोऽहमादिष्टः कांतमस्यास्त्वमानय । अनुरूपं द्विजश्रेष्ठ यद्यहं संमतस्तव
na tasyāḥ sadṛśaḥ kāṃtaḥ prāptastena mahātmanā | yatastato'hamādiṣṭaḥ kāṃtamasyāstvamānaya | anurūpaṃ dvijaśreṣṭha yadyahaṃ saṃmatastava
Bậc đại nhân ấy không tìm được một người chồng xứng đáng, ngang tầm với nàng. Vì thế, ông truyền cho ta: “Hãy đem về cho thiếu nữ này một phu quân—người tương xứng với nàng, hỡi bậc Bà-la-môn tối thắng—nếu ngươi coi trọng lời thỉnh cầu của ta.”
