सोऽपि वजप्रहारेण भस्मसात्सम पद्यत । वृत्रो दानवशार्दूलो वह्निं प्राप्य पतंगवत्

so'pi vajaprahāreṇa bhasmasātsama padyata | vṛtro dānavaśārdūlo vahniṃ prāpya pataṃgavat

Bị cú đánh của vajra, hắn cũng hóa thành tro bụi. Vṛtra, hổ dữ giữa loài Dānavas, lao vào lửa như con thiêu thân tìm đến ngọn flame.
