रुदित्वाथ चिरं कालं विप्रलप्य मुहुर्मुहुः । अन्त्येष्टिं चक्रिरे तस्य वेदोक्तविधिना ततः

ruditvātha ciraṃ kālaṃ vipralapya muhurmuhuḥ | antyeṣṭiṃ cakrire tasya vedoktavidhinā tataḥ

Sau khi khóc lóc thảm thiết và than van hồi lâu, họ đã cử hành tang lễ cho ông theo đúng nghi thức được quy định trong kinh Vệ Đà.
