tatra bhādrapade māsi yo'māvāsyāmavāpya ca | pitṝnsaṃtarpayedbhaktyā so'śvamedhaphalaṃ labhet

Tại đó, vào tháng Bhādrapada, ai đến đúng ngày sóc (amāvāsyā) và thành kính làm lễ thỏa mãn các Pitṛ, người ấy sẽ được công đức ngang bằng tế lễ Aśvamedha.
