सूत उवाच । आसीद्राजा वृकोनाम सोमवंश समुद्भवः । ब्रह्मण्यश्च शरण्यश्च सर्वलोकहिते रतः
sūta uvāca | āsīdrājā vṛkonāma somavaṃśa samudbhavaḥ | brahmaṇyaśca śaraṇyaśca sarvalokahite rataḥ
Sūta thưa: “Xưa có một vị vua tên Vṛka, xuất thân từ dòng Nguyệt tộc (Somavaṃśa). Ngài kính trọng các bà-la-môn, là nơi nương tựa cho người cầu che chở, và luôn tận tâm vì lợi ích của muôn loài.”
