नाहं राज्यं करिष्यामि त्रैलोक्येऽपि कथंचन । पश्य मे यादृशी जाता ह्यवस्था गौतमान्मुनेः

nāhaṃ rājyaṃ kariṣyāmi trailokye'pi kathaṃcana | paśya me yādṛśī jātā hyavasthā gautamānmuneḥ

“Ta quyết chẳng nhận ngôi vương—dẫu trong cả ba cõi—không đời nào. Hãy nhìn xem thân phận ta đã thành ra thế này, bởi bậc hiền thánh Gautama.”
