Transliteration

durvāsasā tataḥ śaptā ruṣṭenevāhinā yathā | vidyādhanābhimānena śāpena patitāḥ sadā

Translation

Rồi họ bị Durvāsas nguyền rủa—như kẻ bị rắn dữ đang giận đánh gục—nên sa khỏi địa vị. Vì kiêu mạn về học vấn và của cải, họ luôn bị lời nguyền ấy làm cho suy đọa.
