Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 62

एवं विक्रीडतस्तस्य गर्भो जज्ञे महाद्युतेः । हेडंबै राक्षसव्याघ्राद्बालसूर्यसमप्रभः

evaṃ vikrīḍatastasya garbho jajñe mahādyuteḥ | heḍaṃbai rākṣasavyāghrādbālasūryasamaprabhaḥ

Khi chàng còn vui đùa như thế, một đứa con đã sinh ra cho bậc rực rỡ ấy—do Heḍambā, từ vị “hổ” giữa loài rākṣasa—sáng chói như mặt trời mới mọc.
