स्नेहाच्च सज्जनो नित्यं जन्तुर्दुःखमुपैति च । स्नेहमूलानि दुःखानि स्नेहजानि भायानि च
snehācca sajjano nityaṃ janturduḥkhamupaiti ca | snehamūlāni duḥkhāni snehajāni bhāyāni ca
Và vì luyến ái chấp thủ, ngay cả người hiền cũng luôn rơi vào sầu khổ. Mọi nỗi khổ đều có gốc từ luyến ái, và mọi nỗi sợ cũng sinh từ luyến ái.
