ततो यज्ञोपवीतं दद्यात् अनेन मंत्रेण । सूत्रतंतुमयं शुद्धं पवित्रमिदमुत्तमम् । यज्ञोपवीतं देवेश प्रगृहाण नमोऽस्तु ते
tato yajñopavītaṃ dadyāt anena maṃtreṇa | sūtrataṃtumayaṃ śuddhaṃ pavitramidamuttamam | yajñopavītaṃ deveśa pragṛhāṇa namo'stu te
Rồi hãy dâng dây thiêng yajñopavīta bằng thần chú này: “Dây yajñopavīta tối thắng này, kết bằng những sợi chỉ tinh khiết, vô cùng thanh tịnh—hỡi Đấng Chúa của chư thiên, xin nhận lấy. Con xin đảnh lễ Ngài.”
