प्रयोजनमपेक्ष्यैव प्रसंगाद्यत्प्रदीयते । अनर्हेषु सरागेण कामदानं तदुच्यते
prayojanamapekṣyaiva prasaṃgādyatpradīyate | anarheṣu sarāgeṇa kāmadānaṃ taducyate
Vật thí chỉ được cho khi còn nhắm một mục đích riêng, do luyến ái và bốc đồng theo dịp, thậm chí trao cho kẻ không xứng—được gọi là “bố thí vì dục” (kāma-dāna).
