अचेतनाश्च सावज्ञा जीवंतोपि न कीर्तये । अभिमानधना धन्या वरं योषित्सुसासती

Transliteration

acetanāśca sāvajñā jīvaṃtopi na kīrtaye | abhimānadhanā dhanyā varaṃ yoṣitsusāsatī

Translation

Kẻ vô tri và khinh mạn, dẫu còn sống cũng chẳng đáng ca ngợi. Thà một người nữ hiền đức, trinh chính, còn hơn những kẻ được gọi là ‘may mắn’ nhưng chỉ giàu kiêu ngạo.
