Scene: A steady-minded devotee turns away from sensual allurements and offers simple, heartfelt worship to Śiva—bilva leaves, water, and mantra—while the background shows temptations fading into shadow.
Unmotivated devotion to Śiva, supported by detachment from sense-pleasures, leads to liberation rather than continued rebirth.
No tīrtha is specified; the verse teaches a general dharma of Śiva-bhakti.
The prescription is inner discipline: cultivate ahaitukī (selfless) bhakti and vairāgya (detachment).
