जज्ञे प्राचेतसं दक्षं महातेजाः प्रजापतिः । दक्षस्यापि तथा जाताः पञ्चाशद्दुहिताः किल
jajñe prācetasaṃ dakṣaṃ mahātejāḥ prajāpatiḥ | dakṣasyāpi tathā jātāḥ pañcāśadduhitāḥ kila
Từ Pracetas sinh ra Dakṣa, vị Prajāpati rực rỡ đại quang minh. Và người ta truyền rằng, Dakṣa cũng có đến năm mươi ái nữ được sinh ra.
