न चावाप्ता तु सा कन्या महादेवाङ्गसंभवा । सहोमया ततो देवो जहासोच्चैः पुनःपुनः
na cāvāptā tu sā kanyā mahādevāṅgasaṃbhavā | sahomayā tato devo jahāsoccaiḥ punaḥpunaḥ
Nhưng thiếu nữ ấy—sinh ra từ chính thân thể của Mahādeva—vẫn chưa được người hữu duyên thọ nhận. Bấy giờ Đức Chúa, cùng với Umā, nhiều lần cất tiếng cười vang.
