अन्तराय-उपसर्ग-विवेचनम् / Analysis of Yogic Obstacles (Antarāyas) and Upasargas
शान्तेष्वेतेषु विघ्नेषु योगासक्तस्य योगिनः । उपसर्गाः प्रवर्तंते दिव्यास्ते सिद्धिसूचकाः
śānteṣveteṣu vighneṣu yogāsaktasya yoginaḥ | upasargāḥ pravartaṃte divyāste siddhisūcakāḥ

It teaches that once inner impediments to meditation are calmed, subtle divine experiences may arise; in Shaiva understanding these are not the final goal, but signs that the yogin is nearing steadiness and grace-led attainment.
In Saguna Shiva worship—such as Linga-upasana—mantra and contemplation purify obstacles (vighnas). As the mind becomes steady in Shiva, extraordinary experiences can appear, pointing to deepening concentration on the Lord rather than replacing devotion to Him.
Sustained Shiva-dhyana with mantra-japa (especially the Panchakshara, Om Namaḥ Śivāya) is implied; the takeaway is to continue disciplined practice and not cling to siddhi-like experiences, treating them as passing indicators while aiming for Shiva-realization.
