पञ्चावरणमार्गस्थं योगेश्वरस्तोत्रम्

आद्येन ब्रह्मणा साक्षात्सृष्टः स्रष्टा च तस्य तु । अंडस्यांतर्बहिर्वर्ती विष्णुर्लोकद्वयाधिपः

Transliteration

ādyena brahmaṇā sākṣātsṛṣṭaḥ sraṣṭā ca tasya tu | aṃḍasyāṃtarbahirvartī viṣṇurlokadvayādhipaḥ

Translation

Viṣṇu được chính Phạm Thiên nguyên thủy trực tiếp sinh ra; và rồi Ngài cũng trở thành một đấng sáng tạo trong trật tự ấy. Ngự cả trong lẫn ngoài trứng vũ trụ, Viṣṇu làm chủ hai cõi hiện hữu. Theo lập trường Śaiva, điều này nói về quyền chủ trì theo chức năng của Viṣṇu trong cõi tạo hóa, còn Pati tối thượng—Śiva—vẫn là nguồn siêu việt, vượt ngoài mọi quyền hạn vũ trụ.
