शिवस्य विश्वव्याप्तिः—अष्टमूर्तिः पञ्चब्रह्म च | Śiva’s Cosmic Pervasion: Aṣṭamūrti and the Pañcabrahma Forms
तस्य देवादिदेवस्य मूर्त्यष्टकमयं जगत् । तस्मिन्व्याप्य स्थितं विश्वं सूत्रे मणिगणा इव । शर्वो भवस्तथा रुद्र उग्रो भीमः पशोः पतिः
tasya devādidevasya mūrtyaṣṭakamayaṃ jagat | tasminvyāpya sthitaṃ viśvaṃ sūtre maṇigaṇā iva | śarvo bhavastathā rudra ugro bhīmaḥ paśoḥ patiḥ
Vũ trụ này được cấu thành bởi tám phương diện hiển lộ của Đấng Thần trên mọi thần. Toàn thể càn khôn nương tựa và an trụ trong Ngài, như những chùm ngọc được xâu trên một sợi chỉ duy nhất. Ngài là Śarva, Bhava, Rudra, Ugra, Bhīma và Paśupati—Chúa Tể của mọi linh hồn bị ràng buộc.
