समयाह्वय-संस्कारः — Rite of ‘Samayāhvaya’ and the Preparatory Layout
Maṇḍapa, Vedi, Kuṇḍas, Maṇḍala, Śiva-kumbha
आचार्यात्पादमर्धं वा होमस्तेषां विधीयते । प्रधानकुण्ड एवाथ जुहुयाद्देशिकोत्तमः
ācāryātpādamardhaṃ vā homasteṣāṃ vidhīyate | pradhānakuṇḍa evātha juhuyāddeśikottamaḥ
Đối với các nghi lễ ấy, phần hỏa cúng của họ được quy định chỉ bằng một phần tư—hoặc nhiều nhất là một nửa—so với phần dành cho ācārya. Rồi sau đó, chỉ tại hố lửa chính, vị deśika tối thượng mới dâng các lễ phẩm.
