पशु-पाश-पतिविचारः / Inquiry into Paśu, Pāśa, and Pati
अचक्षुरपि यः पश्यत्यकर्णो ऽपि शृणोति यः । सर्वं वेत्ति न वेत्तास्य तमाहुः पुरुषं परम्
acakṣurapi yaḥ paśyatyakarṇo 'pi śṛṇoti yaḥ | sarvaṃ vetti na vettāsya tamāhuḥ puruṣaṃ param
Đấng thấy dù không có mắt, nghe dù không có tai; Đấng biết hết thảy, nhưng không ai có thể biết trọn Ngài—các bậc hiền triết tuyên xưng Ngài là “Đấng Tối Thượng” (Puruṣa Parama), chính là Śiva siêu việt.

The Liṅga is worshiped as the visible support for the invisible, sense-transcending Lord described here—Saguna worship steadies the mind, while the verse affirms the Nirguna reality that the Liṅga signifies.
Meditate with the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) while applying Tripuṇḍra bhasma and holding rudrākṣa, contemplating Śiva as the inner Seer and Hearer beyond the senses.
