Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
The verse presents Shiva as Pati—the sovereign Lord—whose innate aiśvarya includes the eight yogic siddhis, showing that cosmic governance and spiritual power arise from His supremacy, not from limited individual effort.
In Linga/Saguna worship, devotees contemplate Shiva as the support of all bhuvanas (worlds). The verse reinforces that the worshipped Lord is not merely a symbol but the sustaining reality who transcends and regulates time and cosmic order.
A practical takeaway is dhyāna on Shiva as the world-sustainer while japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), cultivating purity (medhya-bhāva) and detachment from time-bound experience.
