उपमन्युतपः-निवारणप्रसङ्गः / Śiva restrains Upamanyu’s tapas (Śiva disguised as Indra)
शिव उवाच । वत्सोपमन्यो तुष्टो ऽस्मि सर्वं दत्तं मया हि ते । दृढभक्तो ऽसि विप्रर्षे मया विज्ञासितो ह्यसि
śiva uvāca | vatsopamanyo tuṣṭo 'smi sarvaṃ dattaṃ mayā hi te | dṛḍhabhakto 'si viprarṣe mayā vijñāsito hyasi
Śiva phán: “Này Upamanyu yêu dấu, Ta hài lòng. Quả thật, Ta đã ban cho con mọi điều. Hỡi bậc tối thượng trong hàng brāhmaṇa-hiền triết, con kiên cố trong bhakti, và con đã được Ta thật sự thừa nhận.”
