Nghe lời của Śambhu (Chúa Śiva), Viṣṇu—đấng được chư thiên yêu mến—đã an ủi tất cả, các bậc bất tử cùng những vị khác, rồi trở về cõi của chính mình.

It highlights the Siddhāntic principle that Pati (Śiva) is the supreme guide; even Viṣṇu acts in alignment with Śiva’s word, restoring courage and order among the devas.
By calling Śiva ‘Śambhu’ and depicting his authoritative ‘vacana,’ the verse reinforces Saguna Śiva as the compassionate Lord who governs the cosmos—an outlook that supports reverence to the Liṅga as Śiva’s accessible, worship-worthy presence.
The practical takeaway is śravaṇa (devotional listening) and obedience to Śiva’s instruction; one may pair this with daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” to cultivate steadiness and reassurance in dharma.
