Śiva’s Boon to Viśvakarman and the Manifestation of Devī
Bhavānī/Parāśakti
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Role: liberating
It teaches that tapas becomes spiritually potent when aligned with dharma—performed for the welfare of beings—drawing Shiva’s grace (anugraha) and resulting in fulfillment of rightful desires.
The verse reflects Saguna Shiva as the responsive Lord who is pleased by sincere practice and grants boons; in Linga-worship, this same principle appears as Shiva’s anugraha arising from disciplined devotion, purity, and self-offering.
Undertake disciplined tapas with a selfless intention—regular japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), observance of vratas (especially Mahāśivarātri), and steady meditation—offering the merit for the good of all beings.
