व्यासेन तत्तु संक्षिप्तं चतुर्विंशत्सहस्रकम् । शैवन्तत्र पुराणं वै चतुर्थं सप्तसंहितम्

Transliteration

vyāsena tattu saṃkṣiptaṃ caturviṃśatsahasrakam | śaivantatra purāṇaṃ vai caturthaṃ saptasaṃhitam

Translation

Bộ kinh điển lớn ấy quả thật đã được hiền thánh Vyāsa cô đọng thành hai mươi bốn nghìn câu kệ. Trong toàn tập đó, Śaiva Purāṇa thực là bộ thứ tư, gồm bảy saṃhitā.
