yadyattasya ca vṛttāṃtaṃ bhavatpṛṣṭaṃ munīśvara | kārtikasya gaṇeśasya paramaṃ kathitaṃ mayā

Bạch bậc thánh hiền tối thượng, mọi điều về Ngài mà hiền giả đã hỏi—nay ta đã thuật lại cho hiền giả câu chuyện tối thượng và cốt yếu về Kārtikeya và Gaṇeśa.
