नानानं वा उ नो धियो वि व्रतानि जनानाम् । तक्षा रिष्टं रुतं भिषग्ब्रह्मा सुन्वन्तमिच्छतीन्द्रायेन्दो परि स्रव ॥

Transliteration

nānā́naṃ vā́ u no dhíyo ví vratā́ni jánānām | tákṣā riṣṭáṃ rutáṃ bhiṣág brahmā́ sunvántam icchatī́ndrāyéndo párī srava ||

Translation

Quả thật tư tưởng của chúng ta muôn vẻ, các vrata (khuôn phép, lời nguyện) của loài người cũng khác nhau. Thợ mộc tìm gỗ gãy, thầy thuốc tìm bệnh, vị Bà-la-môn (tư tế) tìm người ép nước—hỡi Indu, hãy chảy tràn bao quanh vì Indra.
