अयं दक्षाय साधनोऽयं शर्धाय वीतये । अयं देवेभ्यो मधुमत्तमः सुतः ॥
Transliteration
ayáṃ dákṣāya sā́dhano ’yáṃ śárdhāya vītáye | ayáṃ devébhyo mádhumattamaḥ sutáḥ ||
Translation
Soma này là kẻ thành tựu cho dakṣa (năng lực khéo phân biệt); soma này dành cho đoàn ngũ (śardha) để họ thọ hưởng và tiếp nhận đúng pháp. Soma này, khi được ép ra, đối với chư thiên là ngọt như mật nhất—đậm đặc nhất về vị ngọt và hoan lạc.
