Narada
Vrata: Jayantī (Dvādaśī) / Vāmana-ārādhana on Dvādaśī
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: vira
It teaches that focused worship of Lord Vāmana combined with fasting can concentrate the merit of many disciplines into a single observance, making devotion (bhakti) the decisive factor behind ritual fruit.
Bhakti is shown as practical and vow-based: by reverently worshiping Viṣṇu as Vāmana and practicing upavāsa, the devotee attains siddhi and the comprehensive merit associated with multiple vratas.
Ritual discipline (kalpa-oriented practice) is implied: upavāsa (fasting) paired with proper arcana (formal worship) as a structured vrata procedure, emphasizing correct observance rather than technical astrology or grammar.
