FAQs

Purity is not only bodily but also social and verbal: slander and bad company are treated as contaminations that drain ojas (vital vigor) and destabilize life.

Didactic dharma material embedded in purāṇic narration (ancillary to pratisarga-like accounts of how evils spread).

Speech (vāk) is a carrier of śakti; when degraded into paiśunya, it becomes a channel for depletion rather than nourishment—hence 'loss of boja/ojas' as an inner consequence.
