Adhyaya 22 — Kuvalayashva’s Death through Daitya-Deceit and Madalasa’s Self-Immolation
तत्क्षणात् चेतनां प्राप्य सर्वास्ता नृपयोषितः ।
राजपत्नीश्च राजा च विलेपुरतिदुःखिताः ॥
tatkṣaṇāt cetanāṃ prāpya sarvāstā nṛpayoṣitaḥ /
rājapatnīś ca rājā ca vilepur atiduḥkhitāḥ
Ngay lúc ấy, vừa tỉnh lại, tất cả các cung nữ hoàng gia—các hoàng hậu của vua và cả nhà vua nữa—đều than khóc, chìm ngập trong sầu muộn.
